Whatever Wednesday!

Well, I see what a well placed post garners in comments! I could barely even watch 20 minutes of the debate last night. I guess that's part of why we are in this mess, people don't care to try to engage themselves and educate themselves. EVERYONE should be paying attention to politics and our government. If you are not, you can't blame anyone but yourself! My excuses are my own downfall and I take responsibility for my actions or non-action.

My Halloween Costume is coming along nicely. I would say it is a hybrid of the evolution of the Lara Croft Outfits from the game. Hopefully I won't run into any TR purists Halloween night because I am working with what I have and making some adjustments for cold Fall nights here in Upstate NY.

Let me rant in a cryptic way for a moment: Thanks! So glad I have been busting my ass for this place. Economic and business situations aside, that was a slap in the face. I guess I know what my future holds and what my next move is. I will now have a laughing fit over this and think of all the possibilities that could come from this one piece of knowledge...

Could I BE more excited for my trip?

Thursday Thoughts!

Oh boy! Where do I start! This is like, one of the BEST WEEKS EVER!:)

  1. Went to the Post Office and applied for my passport last night. Passport pics are fun! I kid, but Roni the postlady was really friendly and it was actually an enjoyable experience.
  2. Joker for President? He's got my vote! Ahee-ahaa-ahaa... I did one of those campaign videos for Harvey Dent too, but I thought Joker was funnier actually.:) Lamby! You have created a monster!!!
  3. My eating habits are paying off (Low carb, smaller portions). I feel better, AND I am losing some poundage. Now to add some exercise to the mix!
  4. I know someone who is like a dog chasing cars...and yea, he wouldn't know what to do with one if he caught one. Unfortunately, I get that because I am the same way.
  5. It's official. I have a new celebrity crush...Aaron Eckhart. I can't help it, there is something about him, even tho he has butt chin and is sorta blonde. Sorry Bruce Wayne, but Rachel was right, I would have chosen Harvey Dent too. ( I can't believe I just admitted that) Ok, maybe I would have kept the love triangle, I mean, Why should a girl choose after all? Anywho, Aaron Eckhart. LOVE HIM!!!!!

Thank you for Smoking! (Smokin' HOT)

Wierd & Wacky Wednesday!

I have come across some WIERD & WACKY stuff on the internet during my lunch today. Thought I would share the links and of course, my two cents::)

  1. Japan builds Robot Girlfriend for Lonely Men It's like an episode of Buffy coming to life!!
  2. Offshore Oil Drilling? Hello People!!!! A short term remedy for a long-term problem? What is WRONG with this country??? Why are we not looking into other fuel sources? Spending all this money on something that is running out and costing us a lot. Big Oil be damned, the ads about tapping into a 60 year supply (for only half the population BTW) is so bogus. Most of the old farts who are pushing this will be dead before 60 years is up and the rest of us will have to deal with their bad business decisions. WAKE UP!!! My parents brought up another great point. Think abou this: As the world pumps oil out of the earth, what is left behind? huge caverns of nothing? No wonder we are having tidal waves and earthquakes that are so devastating!
  3. Lemonade Stand Robbed! Huh? I hope this makes the Darwyn Awards! What a reject!
  4. Not so wacky news I saw was the passing of Cyd Charrise, a beautiful and amazingly talented dancer. I was just talking about her a few weeks back with my family. I definitely will be watching "Brigadoon", and "Singin' in the Rain" again soon in her honor.
  5. More WACKY from Dark Knight Viral Campaign: Two Face?! I need to be careful and not see too much. I would like to be surprised by the film when it comes out, ya know! Oh and to what lengths they will go, it's so ridiculous, but the kid in me is LOVING this Gotham Cable News Special Report
