Thursday Thoughts!

Oh boy! Where do I start! This is like, one of the BEST WEEKS EVER!:)

1. Went to the Post Office and applied for my passport last night. Passport pics are fun! I kid, but Roni the postlady was really friendly and it was actually an enjoyable experience.
2. Joker for President? He's got my vote! Ahee-ahaa-ahaa... I did one of those campaign videos for Harvey Dent too, but I thought Joker was funnier actually.:) Lamby! You have created a monster!!!
3. My eating habits are paying off (Low carb, smaller portions). I feel better, AND I am losing some poundage. Now to add some exercise to the mix!
4. I know someone who is like a dog chasing cars...and yea, he wouldn't know what to do with one if he caught one. Unfortunately, I get that because I am the same way.
5. It's official. I have a new celebrity crush...Aaron Eckhart. I can't help it, there is something about him, even tho he has butt chin and is sorta blonde. Sorry Bruce Wayne, but Rachel was right, I would have chosen Harvey Dent too. ( I can't believe I just admitted that) Ok, maybe I would have kept the love triangle, I mean, Why should a girl choose after all? Anywho, Aaron Eckhart. LOVE HIM!!!!!

Addicted

This Saturday I am invited to a "Guitar Hero Party". Basically, a few of us are getting together to play Gutair Hero on PS2. Since I had never played this game, a friend lent me hers so I could get up to speed last night in prep for Saturday.

This has got to be one of the best games I have EVER played on PS2. Not only is the music great, but it's diferent than all the other games I have. It's nice to take a break from ass-kicking every so often.

Anywho, you have a guitar, and then you can have a band which you can name anything you want (mine I named "Killer Creampuff", don't ask, it just came to me) and you have to play these songs to unlock others and advance your band. You start from the High School Battle of the Bands to playing in a seedy bar and then moving up to big time stage acts. The music is a riot and so much fun.

I am definately addicted to this game and I would love to buy it for myself, but I need to wait a few months. Maybe Guitar Hero I AND II will be my reward. Seriously, this game is a riot. Read about it on Wikipedia: I played Guitar Hero II. The article also lists all the songs you can play.

Yeah, it ROCKS...kinda like me on BASS for "Message in a Bottle" or on LEAD GUITAR for "Rock this Town" and "Woman".

Not only would I have a blast with this game, but I know my nephews would as well. It has multiplayer features where you can play against another person or play as a band. We would be so obnoxious with this game it would be wicked!

Thursday Thoughts

Hey Boys and Girls! It's Thursday and that means tomorrow is Friday and that means Christmas is almost here!!!

It also means that I have officially switched over to beta...whatever that means. it's a little different but I haven't had a chance to look around much. I was sorta forced into it, so I took the plunge today.

Guess what I got today?

My annual Christmas card from Sting. Thanks to the fan club (I know that sounds stupid, but it's really cool) Sting send the members holiday wishes every year. I posted on the boards and said Sting should do a Christmas album of early traditional carols (like 13- 16th century stuff) and a bunch of members responded and agreed and from the sounds of it, I may have started something there. Wouldn't that be awesome? (Chris, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! :)

As you all know, yesterday was the deadline for the poem/song contest. I want to thank all of you who entered. Yeah, that would be NOBODY!!! I was disappointed, however I realize that it is a hectic time of year for all. I also realize that you may be intimidated by my talents in that area, and that's OK. (that was a joke) I still love you all.:)

New Obsession of the day: Criss Angel

Criss Angel is a very talented Illusionist. He won magician of the year in 2005 and has a show on A & E (for 2 seasons) called "Mind Freak". He is very cool and has a real flare for his art. I am currently addicted to watching this show (adding to my earlier magical obssessions of David Copperfield (3rd grade), Lance Burton (College) and David Blane (a few years ago). Strangely, I also find him attractive in a way as well. I think it's his eyes...and the fact that he kinda is simialr to Anthony Keidis of the RHCP in ways. Ok, maybe it's the black nailpolish I have been wearing lately, but you can judge for yourself:



I know, I know, he's a little femme, but I think it's the hair. Whatever, I love him and you should watch his show. He does some crazy stuff! Catch 4 back to back eps (1/2 hour each) Wednesday nights starting at 10pm on A & E! There are also a lot of videos on You Tube like this one... How'd he do that? I have some theories but that's the fun of magic!!
