Gideon Putnam

I took the following pics on my cell phone while staying over at the famous Gideon Putnam. It was all decked out for Christmas with a tree and GINORMOUS Nutcrackers.

It was built in 1935 and added onto throughout the years. Many famous people have stayed there including Bob Hope, Fred Astaire and Cary Grant! Check out their website HERE.

This was the original Service Elevator, which was cool, but creepy. The wind would howl down the long hallways and I was convinced that this place could be haunted.

I was able to sit by this lovely fire for a bit before we left.

Lamby and I couldn't resist getting our pictures taken with the GINORMOUS Nutcrackers before we left. They were so cute!

CC did not mention that the wind was quite gusty while we were there - making it sound like the building was moaning! It made it a bit eerie - but what a beautiful place!
